Job summary

Visa is seeking a Business Development Manager in Australia to support the Business Development team in identifying, engaging, and converting new-to-Visa clients. You will shape commercial strategy, model deals, manage pipelines, secure approvals, contract, onboard and implement across priority growth opportunities.

The role requires strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering successful client outcomes across a broad network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Proven relationship-based sales / business development skills
• Experience constructing and negotiating complex deals that meet customer needs and deliver win-win outcomes
• Experience managing business development pipelines and cross-functional coordination
• Excellent client engagement and ability to build trusted partnerships
• Experience in payments landscape and staying up-to-date with industry trends
• Matrixed organization experience and stakeholder alignment

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to win new business and support client acquisition
• Maintain and govern the new business pipeline including qualification, forecasting, and reporting
• Manage opportunities through full deal lifecycle from origination to onboarding
• Build and maintain relationships across participants, partners and prospects
• Develop and deliver client presentations and integrated propositions leveraging Visa capabilities
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to develop financial models and proposals
• Provide guidance on commercial deals and structuring
• Develop content and engagement strategies for industry events
