Southern Grampians Shire Council in Hamilton, VIC, seeks a Manager Economic Development and Tourism to drive growth in the local economy and visitor economy. The role leads development of strategies, attracts investment, and strengthens partnerships with regional bodies and industry.

You will lead a small team, engage with business owners and government partners, and oversee funding and project delivery to enhance regional prosperity and tourism outcomes.

Formación

• Experience attracting investment or delivering economic outcomes.
• Knowledge of government funding programs and navigating them.
• Leadership of teams and volunteers.
• Ability to build strategic relationships with business and government partners.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead delivery of new Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategies.
• Produce an investment prospectus to attract businesses to Southern Grampians.
• Attract new industry and diversify the agricultural sector.
• Build proactive relationships with small businesses and key partners.
• Identify and secure external funding and grants.
• Lead a small team and engage volunteers and stakeholders.
• Provide trusted advice to the CEO, Director and Councillors.
