Southern Grampians Shire Council in Hamilton, VIC is seeking an experienced Community Safety and Natural Resources Coordinator to lead the delivery of safety, local laws, emergency management and natural resource programs across the municipality.

Reporting to the Manager Shire Strategy and Regulation, the role supervises a diverse team, partners with emergency services and community stakeholders, and helps ensure statutory obligations are met.

Southern Grampians Shire Council is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to coordinate the delivery of community safety, local laws, emergency management and natural resource management services across the municipality.

Reporting to the Manager Shire Strategy and Regulation, this role leads a diverse team, works closely with emergency management agencies and community stakeholders, and plays a key role in ensuring Council meets its statutory obligations while delivering positive outcomes for the community and environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and solutions-focused professional with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and regulatory or emergency management experience.
