Express Freight Brokers is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to drive revenue and strengthen client relationships from Melbourne or the Gold Coast. You will generate new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and coordinate with operations to deliver superior freight and logistics solutions.

The role focuses on proactive sales, customer service excellence, and achieving targets while building long-term partnerships with clients across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, business development or account management.
• Experience in transport, freight, logistics or supply chain (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
• High level of organisation and time management.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: generate opportunities via outbound calls, referrals, networking and lead generation.
• Account Management: build relationships with existing customers, conduct reviews and grow spend.
• Customer Service & Relationship Management: respond to requests, coordinate with operations, maintain service levels.
• Sales Administration: prepare quotations, proposals, and maintain CRM records; produce activity reports.
