Job summary

Phoenix Supply Chain in Melbourne is hiring a proactive Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to develop new customers across Australia. You will build your own sales pipeline, pursue leads, and convert prospects into long-term relationships.

Base salary plus super with an uncapped 15% commission on gross profit, in-person work in Melbourne. Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred; strong integrity, accountability, and self-motivation are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
• Target Australian importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce businesses and other potential customers
• Generate leads through cold calling, email, Eurostaffs, networking and referrals
• Build and manage your own sales pipeline
• Understand customers' freight requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions
• Prepare quotations and follow up proactively
• Convert prospects into long-term customers
• Respond to customer calls, emails and messages promptly and professionally
• Take ownership of customer enquiries and follow issues through until resolved
• Maintain regular communication with customers
• Work closely with our China and Australia operations teams
• Develop and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
