Job summary

Coverite Projects in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to grow our presence across aged care, education, retirement living, commercial and hospitality sectors. You’ll own identifying opportunities, building relationships, and generating qualified project opportunities for the Growth team.

You’ll be a confident communicator, enjoy opening doors, and turn conversations into opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in business development, sales, relationship management or lead generation.
Confident, professional communicator - comfortable on the phone and meeting people face to face.
Hands-on CRM experience (e.g. HubSpot)
Strong organisation and follow-up discipline.
Current driver’s licence, with flexibility to travel locally for client meetings.
Construction, property, architecture or professional services experience highly regarded, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Research and identify new opportunities.
Build relationships with prospective clients and referral partners.
Prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn, virtual meetings (Teams/Zoom) and networking.
Qualify opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records.
Coordinate smooth handovers to the project consultant team.
Represent the Coverite brand professionally.
Help grow a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
