Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Sales Development Manager to drive growth across assigned Sales Areas by analyzing data, applying structured sales-development methods, and providing hands-on commercial support. You will turn identified potential into coordinated activities and clear business outcomes while reporting to the Global Sales Development Manager.

The role emphasizes collaboration with local teams, pre-sales support, and lifecycle planning to maximize aftermarket and equipment sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Extensive experience in sales or sales development within an industrial business, preferably aftermarket, parts, services, or crushing and screening equipment.
• Experience managing opportunities and commercial funnels in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and mineral processing is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and follow up installed-base coverage with Sales Areas.
• Increase parts and wear penetration while recovering at-risk customers.
• Turn identified gaps into owned campaigns and CRM opportunities with clear value, responsibilities, actions and timelines.
• Guide priority opportunities and customer segments toward commercial outcomes.
• Ensure lifecycle plans cover aftermarket and service potential for significant equipment wins.
• Deploy common sales-development methods, coach local teams and share proven practices across Sales Areas.
• Provide pre-sales support and ensure knowledge transfer and systemic solutions are implemented.
