Job summary
Sandvik Rock Processing Australia is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to support growth by delivering technical expertise, developing customer-focused solutions, and guiding opportunities from enquiry to handover. You will select equipment, prepare quotations and tenders, and ensure solutions meet technical and commercial needs.
You will work with Sandvik's vibrating screens and feeders across Australia, building relationships with customers and internal teams to drive successful outcomes
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in a technical field, preferably Mechanical/Process engineering.
- Proven ability to form strong relationships with key customers in a technical sales environment.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills (talking and listening).
- Business acumen and a proven record of success.
- Confident, self-motivated team player.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and commercial terms.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and develop customer-focused solutions.
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to project handover.
- Prepare high-quality quotations and tenders meeting technical and commercial requirements.
- Forecast accurately and use CRM to track progress across projects.
