Publicis Media Australia is seeking a Group Strategy Director to lead a team of strategists and steer the strategic direction for a portfolio of clients. You will champion integrated, best-in-class strategy across the agency and drive growth for clients within our global network.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and a track record in mid-to-large agency environments. Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane locations are possible and the position offers a permanent, full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years industry experience, most recently in a similar position.
• Expert understanding of consumer psychology, behavioural economics, macro-economic influences, trends and marketing science thought.
• Salary – over threshold

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of strategists and drive strategic direction for a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure work meets the highest standards, locally and globally within the network.
• Increase visibility of the Spark strategic product and its value for clients.
• Manage financial performance including revenue, client commercial agreements and team costs.
• Act as a senior client advisor and escalation point for key clients.
• Guide Strategy Directors and Account Directors on output and optimal resource use.
• Develop and manage the Strategy Directors and broader agency team.
• Collaborate with Head of Strategy to improve output and efficiency.
