Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow and risk management.
• Ensure timely preparation of statements, reports, and disclosures per accounting principles and policies.
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other regulations.
• Provide leadership to finance team (20+ staff).
• Prepare or review technical accounting papers on significant transactions.
• Drive organizational efficiency through continuous improvements and innovation.
• Perform and review tax related transactions.

The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for a finance executive to join one of Australia's fastest growing renewables businesses. The role will oversee a high performing finance team, have direct exposure to the ELT and play a pivotal role in the continual growth of the business both domestically and internationally.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for process improvement, being the ‘go-to’ support for financial control matters and supporting the CFO, CEO and ELT to drive the long term group strategy.

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, operational cash flow management, and risk management
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of special purpose financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with accounting
• principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Responsible for compliance with audit, tax and other regulations
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team - 20+
• Preparation and/or review of technical accounting papers on technical accounting areas and significant transactions
• Drive and enhance organisational efficiency through proactive continuous improvements and innovation
• Perform and review tax related transactions

The Expertise
