Luminary is recruiting a Group Executive Events to lead Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and shape Queensland's events calendar from Brisbane. You will sit on the Executive Leadership Team, directing major, destination, mega and strategic events and overseeing the Mega and Strategic Events Fund.

You will collaborate with Ministers, Directors-General and TEQ Board, building partnerships with event owners, rights holders and regional bodies to maximise economic and community impact.

Responsabilidades

• Lead TEQ's events strategy and curate a high-value calendar across leisure and business events.
• Identify, pursue and secure major national and international events to lift Queensland's profile.
• Oversee rigorous investment assessment and present compelling business cases to senior government decision-makers.
• Lead complex negotiations that deliver strong returns while protecting TEQ's interests.
• Provide trusted advice to the CEO, Board and government on event strategy, investment and risk.
• Strengthen Queensland's business events agenda and capability of the events industry.
• Guide TEQ's events contribution to the decade leading into Brisbane 2032.
• Lead and inspire a talented team of Directors, Leaders and Specialists.
