Job summary

James Pascoe Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team across our distribution network. You will drive inventory accuracy, safety compliance and operational efficiency, ensuring timely receipt, storage and distribution to our stores nationwide.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong people management, process improvement and collaboration with Buying, Merchandising and Logistics teams to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse or distribution centre team.
• Strong track record in inventory accuracy and stock control.
• Proven ability to coach and build high-performing teams.
• Solid knowledge of freight, logistics and dispatch processes.
• Experience managing operating costs, budgets and supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Warehouse Assistants to achieve operational objectives.
• Own warehouse performance, safety, service levels and standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing development and succession.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy and efficiency, driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Manage daily operations including receiving, picking, dispatch and replenishment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for store openings and relocations.
