Job summary

Super Retail Group is seeking a Group Accounting Manager to lead the Group Accounting team, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, consolidated reporting, and timely financial outcomes across the group and its entities.

You will drive compliance, controls, and accounting governance while partnering with leaders to provide expert analysis of actuals, forecasts and budgets to support informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with hands-on financial reporting.
• Experience leading large, dispersed finance teams.
• Listed company or large corporate reporting experience.
• Strong controls, governance and compliance knowledge.
• Retail or fast-moving industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Accounting team and set clear operational direction.
• Own month-end close and reporting with a single source of truth.
• Maintain strong financial control environment and internal controls.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and governance.
• Drive automation, standardisation and system interfaces.
• Partner with stakeholders on actuals, budgets and forecasts.
• Lead statutory reporting, audit and tax support activities.
