Job summary

Super Retail Group, with brands like Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF and Macpac, is seeking a Group Accounting Manager in Sydney. You will lead the Group Accounting team, ensuring accurate, timely reporting, strong controls, and compliance across the group’s entities.

You will own the month-end close, consolidate reporting, and provide expert analysis on actuals, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed finance teams.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven ability to drive compliance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and consolidated reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and audit readiness.
• Drive process automation and standardisation across finance systems.
• Partner with stakeholders on actuals, budgets and forecasts.
• Lead statutory reporting, audits and tax support.
• Provide accounting SME input on business change initiatives.
