Job summary

Sherbourne Terrace in Northern Victoria is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee management accounts for a multi-entity operation including hospitality, primary production and rental properties. You will manage payroll, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.

The role requires strong Xero expertise, payroll experience for 50+ staff, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong experience using Xero for multi-entity businesses.
• Payroll experience for teams of 50+ people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly payroll processing.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Forecast and monitor cash flows.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and accountants.
• Manage rental property accounting and reconciliation.
• Carry out other bookkeeping and ad hoc duties.
