Job summary

Randstad Australia is partnering with a South Australian advanced manufacturer to appoint a Group Accountant who will sit in the executive leadership team and work closely with the CEO. You will manage group-wide finances, oversee a bookkeeper, and stay hands-on with core operations while driving financial sustainability.

The role covers HR systems, compliance, and an ERP transition, plus oversight of tax incentives, government grants, and R&D funding. A proactive, collaborative leader is ideal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on financial management, reporting, and systems development.
• Managing HR systems, compliance, recruitment, and employee relations.
• Guiding an upcoming end-to-end ERP system transition.
• Managing tax incentives, government grants, and R&D funding.
• Reviewing business contracts, insurances, and managing risk.
• Collaborating with external accountants to advise on strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group finance and reporting with one direct report (bookkeeper).
• Lead HR systems management, compliance, recruitment and employee relations.
• Drive end-to-end ERP transition and system improvements.
• Manage tax incentives, government grants, and R&D funding.
• Review contracts, insurances, and mitigate business risk.
• Collaborate with external accountants to guide strategic growth.
