Job summary

Lincoln Place is seeking an experienced Grounds and Maintenance Officer to help keep our lifestyle villages safe, tidy and inviting. You will mow lawns, trim hedges, install and repair irrigation, manage plant health, weed control, and perform general repairs across our community facilities.

A can-do attitude and strong safety focus are essential. Previous maintenance work in lifestyle villages or caravan parks is highly regarded, with a current C Class driver’s license and a First Aid

Qualifications

• Experience in lawn mowing and garden maintenance.
• Irrigation installation or repair experience preferred.
• Horticulture degree or related training is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing and edging.
• Hedge trimming and pruning.
• Watering and irrigation installation and repair.
• Treating trees and plants for pests and disease.
• Weed control.
• Soft landscaping such as mulching and planting.
• Leaf blowing.
• General repairs and maintenance of community facilities.
• Event setup and pack down.
• Pool monitoring and cleaning.
• Outdoor facility cleaning.

About the Opportunity:

Weare seeking an experiencedGrounds and Maintenance Officer who is flexible and commits to delivering high-quality outcomes. Reporting to Community Management, you will assist in our commitment to ensure the facilities are well maintained, and the presentation is always excellent. You will take pride in your work and enjoy working in an environment where customer service is key. Previous experience in a similar role and a horticulture degree will be highly regarded.

About You:

• Broad range of skills with a Can-Do attitude
• Dynamic and professional with an energetic, friendly personality
• Attention to detail, consistency and accuracy in all work
• Ability to work within a small team and independently
• Well-groomed
• A focus on safety compliance
• Maintenance experience in a lifestyle village/caravan park/retirement village will be highly regarded
• Current "C Class" driver's license required (and maintained)
• Current First Aid Certificate
