Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Full-Time Ground & Maintenance Supervisor for our Torquay Holidays site in Victoria. You will lead the Grounds and Maintenance team, overseeing public spaces, gardens and facilities, coordinating repairs and contractor work, and ensuring safety and cost controls.

You will report to the Park Manager and drive efficient operations, encouraging a safe, guest-focused environment and timely issue resolution across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Grounds & Maintenance team.
• Ability to recruit, induct and provide performance feedback.
• Ability to plan rosters and workforce requirements.
• Conduct WHS audits and maintain safety records.
• Manage budgets and cost controls for grounds and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upkeep of public spaces, gardens, lawns, pools and facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and contractor work to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor and manage budgets, purchase orders and cost reporting.
• Ensure equipment is serviced and a repairs register is maintained.
• Log maintenance activities, costs, and prepare annual budget inputs.

We're on the lookout for a Full-Time Ground & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Torquay Holidays site.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you'll lead our Grounds and Maintenance team to keep the site looking its best and resolve issues quickly creating exceptional experiences for guests and residents along the way! Torquay Holidays offers a relaxed coastal getaway, with great facilities, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the Surf Coast's iconic attractions.

In this Role, You'll

• Maintain Grounds & Facilities: Oversee upkeep of public spaces, gardens, lawns, and pools to a high standard, including mowing, pruning, pest control, and rubbish collection.
• Manage Maintenance & Repairs: Respond to accommodation and site repair requests, coordinate contractors, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and manage grounds and maintenance budgets, prepare purchase orders, and maintain cost control.
• Equipment & Safety Oversight: Ensure tools and equipment are serviced, maintain a register of repairs, and assist with site security.
• Administration & Compliance: Log all maintenance activities, document work and costs, prepare reports, and support annual budget preparation.

• Collaboration & Communication: Maintain open communication with the Manager and staff, submit proposals for major works, and use appropriate systems for reporting and documentation
