Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Full-Time Ground & Maintenance Supervisor for our Torquay Holidays site. You’ll lead the Grounds and Maintenance team, oversee repairs, and ensure facilities and public spaces are maintained to a high standard.

The role emphasizes cost control, contractor coordination, and safety oversight to deliver exceptional guest and resident experiences on a coastal site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading grounds and maintenance teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources for site maintenance.
• Strong WHS knowledge and safety compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and facilities to high standards across the site.
• Oversee maintenance requests, coordinate with contractors and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor budgets, raise purchase orders, and control costs.
• Ensure tools and equipment are serviced and maintain a repairs register.
• Log activities, prepare reports, and support annual budget preparation.

We’re on the lookout for a Full-Time Ground & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Torquay Holidays site.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll lead our Grounds and Maintenance team to keep the site looking its best and resolve issues quickly creating exceptional experiences for guests and residents along the way! Torquay Holidays offers a relaxed coastal getaway, with great facilities, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the Surf Coast’s iconic attractions.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain Grounds & Facilities: Oversee upkeep of public spaces, gardens, lawns, and pools to a high standard, including mowing, pruning, pest control, and rubbish collection.
• Manage Maintenance & Repairs: Respond to accommodation and site repair requests, coordinate contractors, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and manage grounds and maintenance budgets, prepare purchase orders, and maintain cost control.
• Equipment & Safety Oversight: Ensure tools and equipment are serviced, maintain a register of repairs, and assist with site security.
• Administration & Compliance: Log all maintenance activities, document work and costs, prepare reports, and support annual budget preparation.

• Collaboration & Communication: Maintain open communication with the Manager and staff, submit proposals for major works, and use appropriate systems for reporting and documentation
