Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Croydon to keep outdoor spaces across housing sites well-maintained and presented. You will mow lawns, trim hedges and shrubs, weed beds and pathways, and perform general upkeep while safely operating groundskeeping equipment.

The ideal candidate has grounds maintenance experience, is physically fit, can work outdoors in all weather, and holds a valid driving license.

Qualifications

Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
Valid driving license.
Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and tools safely.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.
Trimming and shaping hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and appearance.
Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways and landscaped areas.
Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and preparing soil and beds.
Clearing debris and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.
Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers; maintaining tools.
Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access sites.
Following all safety procedures and regulations.
Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing or preparing sites for weather changes.
