Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces well-maintained and visually appealing. Based in Cambridge, you will travel to sites across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex as part of the Soft Facilities Management Grounds Maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities include mowing lawns, hedging, planting, weeding and general landscape upkeep for housing sites. A full-time, permanent position with 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Professional grounds maintenance/gardening experience.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles and transport plant, machinery and equipment.
• General maintenance of grounds: grass cutting, debris removal, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming.
• Operate gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Perform basic flower bed maintenance and salt/grit pathways as needed.
• Maintain vehicles and gardening machinery.

Grounds Maintenance Operative

Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Soft Facilities Management Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in the Cambridge area and travelling to sites across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

Your responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep of housing sites (new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation).

You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full time, permanent position and the hours will be 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
