Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer at Swan Bay Holidays in Victoria. You will keep gardens and common areas well presented, safe, and welcoming for guests and residents, while performing general repairs and reporting issues promptly.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you will manage grounds tasks, ensure pool areas are maintained, and support overall park presentation. A C-class license and practical site experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grounds and maintenance experience.
• Understand site and safety procedures.
• Practical knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and pool or site-specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

Nestled between Victoria’s Surf Coast and Port Phillip Bay, Swan Bay offers a peaceful bayside escape with direct access to the water—perfect for fishing and coastal relaxation.
