Job summary

Service Stream in Australia is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operators for permanent full-time roles at RAAF Woomera, SA. You will perform a range of manual and machinery-assisted tasks in outdoor environments, supporting construction, agricultural and infrastructure projects while assisting tradespeople and site teams.

Your duties include land preparation, equipment operation, material handling, and ensuring safety compliance with site plans and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and operating plant equipment.
• Ability to perform manual labour in outdoor environments.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clear land for construction and grounds projects.
• Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport and handle materials and equipment.
• Carry out manual labour tasks such as digging and lifting.
• Support tradespeople and site crews with tasks.
• Conduct equipment checks and report faults/hazards.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with plans and regulations.
