Lutheran Services Australia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer to support Immanuel Gardens Retirement Living in Buderim. You will maintain buildings, gardens and shared spaces to keep the environment safe, tidy and welcoming for residents and staff.

This part-time role (60 hours per fortnight, Tue–Fri, 7:30am–3:36pm) offers a competitive hourly rate of $29.45–$31.11 plus super, salary packaging and staff discounts, with a not-for-profit employer committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping, preferably in aged care.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and customer-service focus.
• Current Police Check and Queensland Driver’s Licence.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Responsabilités

• General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens and common areas.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning.
• Identify and report risks and work to minimise them.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
• Manage external contractors and minor building projects.
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
