Job summary

Goodna Special School is seeking a reliable, practical and motivated Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities on a temporary basis to commence as soon as possible until 15 January 2027. Expressions of Interest are welcomed and extensions will not exceed 12 months.

The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance of school grounds, buildings and facilities to keep a safe, functional and welcoming environment for students and staff. You will work hands-on, with independence and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience with groundskeeping and garden maintenance.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to monitor facilities and report hazards.
• Willingness to assist with setup and general operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping and garden maintenance.
• Mowing and general outdoor upkeep.
• Minor repairs and maintenance.
