Job summary

Petbarn in Epping is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager. You will clip and scissor across all breeds, train and develop a passionate team, and oversee day-to-day grooming operations with a focus on service quality and consistency.

The role offers a stable income year-round, with opportunities for bonus programs, staff discounts, and career progression through formal training. A two-hour grooming trial is part of the process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Experience training and developing a grooming team.
• Proficient in consultation, quoting, bookings and invoicing.

Responsibilities

What do we need?

• 3 years of professional grooming experience


• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision


• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types


• The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasksBe able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management


• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day


• The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
