Job summary

Petbarn in North Geelong is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead our grooming team and maintain high standards of service. The role requires clipping and scissoring across all breeds and the ability to train and develop staff within a busy salon.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of professional grooming experience, strong customer service skills, and the capability to manage bookings, invoicing, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to handle consultations, bookings, invoicing, ordering and operational tasks.
• Ability to manage operations and lead a grooming team.
• Complete at least 6–8 grooming services per day.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.

What do we need?

• 3 years of professional grooming experience
• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types
• The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day

The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
