Job summary

Petbarn Banksia Grove is seeking a talented Pet Stylist looking to become a Grooming Salon Manager. You will clip and scissor across breeds, train and develop a passionate team, and oversee grooming operations.

A two-hour grooming trial is part of the process, and only successful candidates will be contacted. We offer a supportive Grooming Development Manager, opportunities for training, staff discounts, and a stable income year-round, with potential for career progression and continued learning

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed/coat types.
• The ability to provide consultations, quoting, bookings, invoicing, ordering and operational tasks.
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services across breeds and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Provide consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, and ordering as part of daily operations.
• Lead and develop the grooming team and manage day-to-day operations.
• Complete 6–8 grooming services per day.
• Deliver excellent customer service and breed knowledge to clients.

What do we need?

• 3 years of professional grooming experience

• The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day
• The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
