Job summary

Petbarn Oakleigh is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead a busy grooming team. You will clip and scissor across breeds, train and develop staff, and oversee daily operations with confidence.

This role offers a stable income, a supportive management structure, bonus programs, and opportunities for certificate training and career progression. To succeed you should have at least 3 years grooming experience, strong dog handling and customer service, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Ability to provide consultation, quoting, bookings, invoicing and operational tasks.
• Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management.
• Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day.
• Strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
