Job summary

Grace is seeking motivated individuals to join our friendly team as Removalist / Packer. You will help with packing, loading and unloading, and support removalists and customers across varied locations, largely unsupervised.

Our Skills Path training will take you on a learning journey to a new career, with potential for future truck driving, warehouse work or leadership. Casual role with above award rates and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Friendly, helpful, honest and customer-focused.

• Reliable, hard-working and team player.
• Physically fit; lifting and exertion required.
• Have a driver’s licence – car licence minimum; ability to drive packing vans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift & delivery.

Your opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our friendly team. This varied role provides support to our removalists and customers, helping with packing to prepare for a removal and unpacking to help set up a home. You will be out and about in a different location every day, largely working unsupervised; no two days are the same. Our Skills Path training scheme will take you on a learning journey to a whole new career. Maybe in the future you will drive one of our trucks, run our warehouse or run the company!

Your new role

• Careful packing and unpacking of customer effects
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Read and complete paperwork required, sometimes using a tablet
• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift & delivery
• Helping maintain clean & tidy vehicles, equipment and warehouse
