Job summary

Grace Worldwide in Australia is hiring for a casual Removalist / Packer. You will support removalists and customers by packing, loading, and assisting at multiple locations daily.

The role is field-based, largely unsupervised, with training through our Skills Path; potential career progression into driving trucks or managing warehousing.

We value reliability, a can-do attitude, and a neat appearance, and offer above award rates with overtime and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move items as part of packing and removal work.
• Friendly and customer-focused approach with proactive attitude.
• Reliability and willingness to learn in a team environment.

Your opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our friendly team. This varied role provides support to our removalists and customers, helping with packing to prepare for a removal and unpacking to help set up a home. You will be out and about in a different location every day, largely working unsupervised; no two days are the same. Our Skills Path training scheme will take you on a learning journey to a whole new career. Maybe in the future you will drive one of our trucks, run our warehouse or run the company!

Your new role

• Careful packing and unpacking of customer effects
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Read and complete paperwork required, sometimes using a tablet
• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift & delivery
• Helping maintain clean & tidy vehicles, equipment and warehouse
