Job summary

Grace Worldwide is seeking motivated individuals for removalist/packer roles in Cairns, Portsmith. You will support removalists and customers, packing and unpacking, and helping prepare for removals. Training through the Skills Path may lead to more responsibilities, including driving trucks or managing a warehouse in the future.

Roles involve daily variation, unsupervised work, and a path for career advancement. Above award rates with overtime and benefits available are offered.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as part of the role.
• Driver’s license (car licence minimum).

Responsibilities

• Careful packing and unpacking of customer effects.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Read and complete paperwork, sometimes using a tablet.
• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift and delivery.

Your opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our friendly team. This varied role provides support to our removalists and customers, helping with packing to prepare for a removal and unpacking to help set up a home. You will be out and about in a different location every day, largely working unsupervised; no two days are the same. Our Skills Path training scheme will take you on a learning journey to a whole new career. Maybe in the future you will drive one of our trucks, run our warehouse or run the company!

Your new role

• Careful packing and unpacking of customer effects
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Read and complete paperwork required, sometimes using a tablet
• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift & delivery
• Helping maintain clean & tidy vehicles, equipment and warehouse
