Job summary

Central Coast Sports College in Kariong, NSW, seeks an experienced Greenkeeper to join the Grounds and Maintenance Team. This full-time role starts early (5:30am) and focuses on maintaining sport fields and surrounding areas to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have Cert III Sports Turf Management or equivalent, knowledge of irrigation systems, strong fitness, and NSW Working with Children clearance. A safe, collaborative work environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Cert III Sports Turf Management or equivalent practical experience.
• Good level of physical fitness and strength.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of irrigation and automated sprinkler systems.
• NSW Working with Children Check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sport fields and surrounding areas including mowing, fertilising and aeration.
• Repairing, watering, sowing/seeding and pesticide application as required.
• Marking out lines on playing areas and general grounds maintenance.
• Operate and maintain hand and power equipment (mowers, aerators, line marking).
• Undertake landscaping or planting projects as required.
• Minor maintenance of buildings and equipment not covered by contracts.
