Job summary

The Department of Government Services VIC – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Grant Services Officer to coordinate end-to-end grant programs, including scheduling, reporting, assessments, payments and communications, ensuring activities follow policies and timeframes.

You will monitor performance with systems and data, identify risks, and work with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve service quality, efficiency and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting a range of complex programs and/or projects across multiple business functions.
• Previous experience in the delivery of government grant programs (using the Salesforce grants management system (GEMS) or similar will be highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant program activities, supporting timely and accurate delivery of assessments, program tasks and services in line with policies, procedures and timeframes.
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities, monitoring issues and risks and escalating matters as appropriate to support effective program delivery.
• Assist with budget and financial administration, monitoring expenditure, maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting across grant programs.
• Coordinate process improvements, contributing to the development and implementation of consistent practices that improve service quality, efficiency and reduce delivery risks.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, working collaboratively with program owners and internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, share information and support successful program outcomes.
