Job summary

Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a motivated Grants Lead to work across our Community Grants Program, supporting groups to access funding and identifying opportunities for external grants. You will coordinate planning, assessment and reporting, develop compelling applications, and support committees.

This role requires tertiary qualifications in social science or related discipline and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in social science or community development.
• Experience in grants programs and administration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, assessment and reporting for the Community Grants Program per policy.
• Improve the Community Grants Program to meet community needs and priorities.
• Prepare reports, briefings and funding submissions for Council and Coordinator Grants.
• Support the Community Grants Advisory Committee.
• Create accessible information and training to help groups apply for funding.
• Identify external funding opportunities and develop grant applications with teams.
• Maintain grant registers and administer active grants.
