Job summary

CBH Group is seeking an Analyst - Network Planning to support major commercial and infrastructure investment decisions across our Storage & Handling network as part of CBH's 2033 Strategy. You will combine commercial analysis, financial modelling, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement to identify high-value opportunities, develop business cases and support senior management and Board decisions.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law or similar.
  • Experience in corporate strategy & planning, consulting or infrastructure advisory.
  • Proactive, analytical, and able to drive work forward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Experience in commercial analysis, financial modelling and business case development.
  • Experience in agricultural or bulk commodities supply chain knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct commercial, strategic and operational analysis to support decisions.
  • Assist with network planning and investment prioritisation.
  • Engage with stakeholders and facilitate discussions.
  • Develop and review financial and supply chain models.
  • Manage smaller projects and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prepare business cases, presentations and board-ready recommendations.
  • Identify value creation, efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.

The Role

TheAnalyst -Network Planning,playsa key role insupportingmajorcommercial andinfrastructure investment decisions across our Storage & Handling network, helping deliver CBH's 2033 Strategy and significant long-term capital investment program.

Combining commercial analysis, financial modelling,strategicthinkingand stakeholder engagement,you'llidentifyand evaluate high-valuecommercial/investment opportunities, develop business cases and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilitiesinclude:
  • Conductcommercial,strategicand operational analysis to support commercial and investment decisions.
  • Assist with network planning and investment prioritisation to support delivery of the Group's strategic objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders and facilitate discussions to progress key business initiatives.
  • Develop and review financial and supply chain models to support investment decisions.
  • Manage smaller projects and support larger initiatives, including facilitating cross-functional workshops.
  • Assist in the development ofhigh-quality reports, including business cases, presentations and recommendations for senior management and Board consideration.
  • Identify value creation, efficiency and cost-saving opportunities across the network.
About You:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law or similar.
  • Proven experience in corporate strategy & planning, consulting, infrastructure advisory, investment banking or a related commercial environment.
  • A proactive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify practical solutions and drive work forward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil information into clear outputs.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across a range of disciplines and levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial analysis, project evaluation, financial modelling and business case development.
  • Agricultural or bulk commodities industry or supply chain knowledge is desirable.
