Job summary

PTG Group's Projects & Designs Engineers in Southport is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with 1-3 years' experience to join our team. You will work on residential, commercial and industrial projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

You’ll assist in developing detailed designs, perform structural analysis with Spacegass, Rapt, Ram and Inducta, visit sites, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with architects, contractors and clients to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in structural engineering with residential, commercial or industrial focus.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software such as Spacegass, Rapt, Ram, Inducta is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed structural designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and project teams to align designs with goals.
• Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications for bidding and construction.
• Perform site visits and structural assessments of existing structures.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project.
