Job summary

pitt&sherry is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Sydney team as part of the national structural group. You will contribute to a diverse set of infrastructure, industrial and local government projects with senior engineers guiding you.

With 2+ years in structural design, a Civil/Structural degree, and SpaceGass experience, you will collaborate across a 50+ strong national team. Flexible working between home and office supports work‑life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in structural engineering design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural analysis and 3D modelling software (SpaceGass preferred)
• Proactive mindset and willingness to step outside your comfort zone
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intermediate to advanced structural designs using sound engineering fundamentals.
• Work on a broad range of projects with engineers and technicians across the national structural team of 50+ professionals.
• Liaise with clients, design technicians and internal stakeholders to achieve practical, efficient outcomes.
• Prepare design documentation, calculations, sketches and technical reports.
• Contribute to fee proposals and tender documentation as your experience develops.
• Learn from senior engineers and benefit from mentoring, technical review and shared expertise across the national business.
