Job summary

BG&E Newcastle office is seeking a Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design, analyse and assess structures across buildings and infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality, safe designs.

You will engage with architects, builders and developers to support project delivery and contribute to the growth of the Newcastle office. Proficiency in SPACE GASS, Strand7, ETABS or RAPT is highly regarded and a Civil/Structural

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 3+ years' experience in Structural design.
• Proficiency in SPACE GASS, Strand7, ETABS and/or RAPT will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of contemporary design standards such as AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS3700, AS1720 and more.
• A strong communicator and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse and assess structures across buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and project teams to ensure high-quality, safe designs.
• Engage with architects, builders and developers to support project delivery.
• Contribute to business development and diversification of the Newcastle office.
