Job summary

Graduate Software Engineer at Engine by Starling in Sydney. You’ll work on real-world banking problems from day one, building features from scratch and learning on the job as part of a growing team.

We value curiosity, collaboration and the ability to write quality code. No CS degree required; recent graduates considered. Start early 2027; visa/work eligibility for Australia. You'll gain hands-on experience with Java, JS/TS, Kotlin and cloud tools.

Qualifications

• A recent university graduate or on track to graduate at the end of this academic year.
• Ability to demonstrate quality code and collaboration within a team.
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
• Eligible to work in Australia and ready to start full-time in early 2027.
