Job summary

Engine by Starling in Sydney is seeking recent graduates for a Graduate Software Engineer role. You’ll work on real-world problems from day one, building features from scratch and contributing to our global SaaS banking platform.

You’ll learn on the job with hands-on experience across Java, JS/TS, Swift, and Kotlin, plus modern tools like Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. You’ll join small, collaborative teams and own meaningful projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduate or on track to graduate.
• Ability to write quality code.
• Proven experience working in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Open to and values feedback to improve.
• Eligible to work in Australia and start full-time in early 2027.
