Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is recruiting a Graduate Software Engineer to join the 24‑month graduate program commencing January 2027. This permanent full-time role offers a solid start to a career in defence software, with placements across multiple engineering business units in Adelaide, Brisbane and Williamtown.

You will contribute to mission-system software development focused on security, scalability, and performance, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust integrated

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in engineering, computer science or information technology (or have an anticipated graduation date before January 2027).
Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of robust mission system software with a focus on cyber security, scalability and performance.
Contribute to the design, development, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.
Write code to solve complex problems.
Communicate and collaborate with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions to the Australian Defence Force.
