Boeing Defence Australia invites applications for a Graduate Software Engineer to join the 2027 program in Adelaide. This permanent full-time role offers a solid career foundation and cross-unit opportunities including E-7A Wedgetail, MQ-28 Ghost Bat, Sustainment Operations and Joint Systems.

The program lasts 24 months, with tailored development, mentoring and hands-on project work within one business unit, preparing you for a professional engineering career in defence technology.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in engineering, computer science or information technology (or anticipate graduation before Jan 2027).
• Australian citizenship required to meet Defence security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of robust mission system software with focus on cyber security, scalability and performance.
• Contribute to design, development, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.
• Write code to solve complex problems.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
