Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of professional experience are welcome to apply
• Proactive and positive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Must consent to and meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites
• Candidates based in Perth are preferred; candidates based in Victoria may also be considered
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Support customers through on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions
• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products and configurations at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
• Perform maintenance and repair services
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting product performance
• Respond proactively to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned business interruptions
• Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems and application software
• Serve as an internal technical resource and manage product escalations
• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D teams to provide customer solutions
• Work on associated projects
• Deliver internal technical training, maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or customers
• Train other field engineers or customers
• Calibrate equipment on-site for large-volume customers
• Qualify leads
