Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, offers graduates hands-on experience in underground mining and career progression across diverse roles. The Graduate Program lets you rotate through underground roles while gaining exposure to how mine operations are optimised from the office.

Graduates will be mentored and supported to develop project engineering skills and pursue future careers in operations, corporate pathways or technical mining streams across Barminco sites.

About the Program:

The Barminco Graduate Program lets you learn industry-leading, safe practices from some of the most skilled underground miners in the world.

Graduates rotate through each underground role, learning what it truly means to be part of a team whilst gaining the experience necessary to sit their First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate or Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency.

Additionally, the program includes an office-based role where you are given the opportunity to optimise mine processes and hone your project engineering skills.

Key Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.

Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid manual Driver’s Licence).
