Job summary

InfraBuild invites new graduates to join the 2028 Graduate Program as a Graduate Mechatronics Engineer. Starting in January 2028, you’ll enter a two-year fixed-term contract with potential for permanent placement, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to plant reliability, safety and performance.

You will rotate through two 12-month placements, receive coaching and formal training, and work with experienced professionals on key automation and manufacturing projects across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Mechatronics) or related field.
• Australian/NZ citizenship or visa with unlimited work rights.
• Degree completed within past three years or to finish in 2027.
• <2 years of full-time, discipline-specific work experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in two 12-month rotational placements across business units.
• Contribute to real projects improving plant reliability, safety and performance.
• Engage in continuous coaching, mentorship and formal training.
• Lead deployment of automation improvements and machine-learning initiatives.
