Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. at Goodwood invites a driven junior engineer to join the Technical Planning Department for Interior Manufacturing, focusing on New Product Integration and industrialization of interior trim parts from concept to release for series production.

The role emphasizes design and engineering requirements, cost and quality targets, health and safety, with collaboration across manufacturing and quality.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 or master’s in engineering/manufacturing.
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing or engineering principles.
• Analytical mindset with structured problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork; willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate new products, bespoke features and change requests with investment, headcount and space considerations.
• Assess Manufacturing New Product concepts for feasibility, cost reduction, throughput and quality.
• Plan process, costs and timing for CAD release to manufacturing with tooling defined.
• Ensure all legal requirements and document control (APQP, PFMEAs, flows, BOMs).
• Detail equipment specs, raise POs, manage suppliers and coordinate installation.
• Project manage installation of high-scope projects and ensure H&S compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement to meet KPI targets and reduce waste across production.
