Job summary
Aurelia Metals is seeking a skilled mining engineer to shape the Peak Mine through high-quality designs and schedules. You will work with Technical Services and Operations to translate plans into action, influencing performance, safety and day-to-day operations.
Role requires leadership, strong mine planning knowledge, and proficiency with Deswik CAD tools. Relocation and travel options may be available within NSW. This is a hands-on design and planning position at Peak Mine.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar mining role and operation.
- Strong knowledge of short to medium-term mine planning.
Responsibilities
- Foster a high-performing team through mentoring, coaching, and development.
- Promote a safe workplace by identifying hazards and driving improvements.
- Review and optimise mine designs and supporting infrastructure.
- Oversee weekly schedules to ensure safe and efficient extraction.
- Deliver drill and blast designs, including stope notes and reconciliations.
- Support budget planning and contribute to mine planning procedures.
