Job summary

Black Cat Civil in Cairns is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support our Projects division on civil infrastructure and mining-related work. This entry-level role offers exposure to procurement, administration, and estimating while you travel across regional Queensland.

Based in Australia with the option of fly-in/fly-out or drive-in/drive-out rosters, you will work closely with management, gain practical skills, and receive structured training and career development in a fast-growing

The Opportunity

Black Cat Civil has a Full-Time position for a Graduate Engineer to join our Projects division.

The successful candidate will be exposed to civil infrastructure and maintenance in mining and construction environments, whilst also being exposed to a range of operational management activities. The successful candidate should have previous Australian civil experience.

The role will be based out of Cairns, with Fly in Fly out & Drive in Drive out options, on a 2 weeks on and 1 week off roster.

Key responsibilities include:

As this is an entry level position in our industry, the role will largely support our management team across a range of operational activities including but not limited to:

• Procurement construction materials and consumables
• Construction administration i.e. timesheets, setting up and closing jobs
• Quoting new work
• Exposure to construction methodologies
