Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team in Australia. You will gain exposure to Battery Energy Storage, Wind, and Solar projects while building a strong foundation in engineering design and project delivery.

You will work alongside engineers and specialists, supporting calculations, reports and drawing reviews, and participate in a comprehensive graduate program with mentoring and career development opportunities. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Final year or completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or related discipline
• Graduates must commence work by February 2027 (or July 2027)
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Support engineers on active projects, assisting with calculations, reports, and drawing reviews
• Be involved in entry-level engineering tasks aligned to your skills and development goals
• Shadow senior engineers to gain insight into daily project work and best practices
• Contribute to general project administration and coordination tasks
